Dental Care
Dental health is critical to overall health. West Side Community Health Services provides preventive, restorative, and emergency dental services to over 5,500 patients each year. Services are provided at two dental clinics: West Side Dental Clinic, a free standing facility less than one block from the main clinic on St. Paul’s West Side, and Helping Hand Dental Clinic, a free standing facility near downtown St. Paul.
Our Bright Smiles Dental Program is a partnership with the Greater Twin Cities United Way and the Knight Foundation. Services are provided for children in Ramsey and Dakota Counties. The Partnership for Improving Children’s Oral Health in Ramsey County (PICOH) strives to improve the oral health of disadvantaged populations through community outreach, education, and dental clinic services.
Bright Smiles strives to ensure that Latino children (ages 0 to 5) have access to dental clinic care and their families are educated on effective oral health practices. There is no charge for these services. Our Bright Smiles Dental Program Coordinator: Silvya Díaz, Dental Health Educator, (651) 298.8566.
